Final evaluation
In the framework of the cooperation between Luxembourg and four partner countries (Cabo Verde, Laos, Nicaragua and Vietnam), Luxembourg's Development Cooperation has decided to offer scholarships to students from these countries to specialize and strengthen their capacities as trainers and managers in the hospitality and tourism sector.
Each year, 10 Vietnamese students thus follow a training on hotel techniques at the Lycée technique hôtelier Alexis Heck (LTHAH) in Diekirch (Luxembourg) and eight teachers and school managers are trained in administrative and financial management at the Brussels Business Institute in Wiltz (Luxembourg).
The project is based on (i) the more than 10 years support to vocational training of Lao and Vietnamese students at the LTHAH and (ii) on the experience gained in terms of support to hospitality and tourism schools in the concerned countries.
